Are you ready to escape your desk, commute, and maybe even the cold? So am I, but I don’t want this year’s spring vacation to be anything short of rejuvenating. Although long days on the beach sipping piña coladas don’t sound all bad, a week away from work where I can renew mind, body, and spirit is what I am looking for. I took to Airbnb to search for the perfect destinations that allow travelers to stay active, embrace culture, engage with locals, and get some much needed rest. Grab a group of friends or family, book a flight, and stay at one of these amazing locations.

Austin was named one of the top 10 yoga cities in the U.S. by Forbes. Head to town for the film and music festival South by Southwest where daily yoga sessions are accompanied by live musical performances. The city has taken on yoga in ways others have not: hosting “bend and brew” which pair yoga and craft brews at a bar. You can also opt for yoga date nights or bring your pup along on vacation and visit Doga for yoga with your pet. Austin is known to be a town compiled of musicians, artists, and foodies. Make sure to stop by the Austin food trucks and do some shopping. Stay in this amazing Airstream trailer in true Austin fashion just a short drive from downtown.
