Videos That Make Working out at Home Fun!

There are many reasons why working out at home is sometimes the best option for fitting in a workout. Maybe you’re healing from an injury. Maybe you’re doing your best to limit your spending and stick to your budget. Maybe your busy schedule means by the time you get home, driving to the gym or studio just isn’t an option. Or maybe you’re just in need of some new exercise inspiration to encourage you to try something new. Below are some of our favorite workouts that can be done in the comfort of your own home, or even while you’re traveling, with no fancy gym equipment required!


Yoga with Adriene

Have you ever taken an exercise class taught by a friend? Or do you have a favorite instructor who makes you feel like you’re doing wonderful things, regardless of where you are in your fitness journey? Cue Adriene Mishler. Her “Yoga with Adriene” channel on YouTube has over a million subscribers and for good reason. Her motto, “Find What Feels Good,” aligns perfectly with her encouraging, authentic teaching style. Adriene’s diverse library of free videos features a range of yoga videos on everything from learning the basic poses to really advancing in your practice.

Tone It Up

Karena and Katrina are the co-founders of Tone It Up, a healthy lifestyle community with millions of dedicated members. Tone It Up focuses on daily lifestyle changes that, if done consistently, amount to amazing transformations. They are behind every fitness video they produce and their energy is seriously infectious. The Tone It Up YouTube channel features a wide range of workouts, including targeted videos for different muscle groups, HIIT (high intensity interval training) workouts, total body workouts, stretching routines, and much more.

POPSUGAR Fitness, a branch of POPSUGAR – an independent media and technology company with a focus on lifestyle, produces workout videos for healthy living and stress relief. Their videos range in length from ten minutes to over forty minutes so you can do a few easy exercises at your desk or break a sweat after work! Their YouTube channel and fitness website both feature workouts that can easily be done at home. We especially love that their workouts are easy to follow and include helpful photographs to make sure you have the correct posture/form. Fun fact: you can also use their “Fitfinder” to customize the type of workout you’re looking for and their search will return a relevant workout video from their library!
