Here’s a look at the fitness trend you’ll want to try out, based on your zodiac sign.
Aries (March 21–April 19): Boxing
Old-school boxing has reemerged in a big way in recent years. As a fierce competitor and adventurer, an Aries won’t be afraid to step in the ring. Fearless at heart, an Aries is always up for trying a workout that might look intimidating to another sign. Boxing workouts involve building up strength and practicing coordination with drills like fast feet. There are different options, such as cardio kickboxing or Piloxing, where you’ll focus on core moves, plus kicking and punching sequences. Or, there are more traditional boxing gyms where you’ll work on a heavy bag or with a partner. Either way, an Aries is sure to be up for the challenge.
Taurus (April 20–May 20): Hiking
As an Earth sign, a Taurus prefers to stay rooted with nature instead of spending time in the gym. Lucky for this grounded sign, workouts where you spend time outdoors, participating in activities like hiking and kayaking, are now considered fantastic ways to get fit. In addition to physical benefits, the Japenese trend of Forest bathing has also stressed the importance of spending time outside as a way to find mental clarity, too.
Gemini (May 21–June 21): Trampoline Class
A Gemini doesn’t like to be bored. This sign constantly needs to be trying something new. A fun-packed trampoline class will be just amusing enough for this sign. Far from the bounce parks you visited as a kid, a trampoline fitness class for adults actually is going to take place on a mini trampoline. However, there’s a lot more to it than just hopping around. An instructor will take you through moves like donkey kicks, squats, and jabbing while you rebound on and off the trampoline. It will be set to high-energy music and the variety is sure to keep a Gemini motivated.
Cancer (June 22–July 22): Yoga with Adrien
Cancers are homebodies who prefer to spend time alone or with family. (They’ll leave the high-energy group classes for other more social signs, thank you very much.) Instead, they’d rather turn on a Youtube workout in the comfort of their living room any day. A Cancer will appreciate the fact that at-home videos have come a long way in recent years. Uber-popular Yoga with Adrien videos will bring the soothing vibes a Cancer needs.
Leo (July 23–Aug. 22): Infrared sauna
Leo is a fire sign and wouldn’t shy away from the heat. They’ll love the fact that infrared saunas are popping up in gyms and spas around the country.
