What Your 2016 Gym Routine Shouldn’t Be Missing

Every New Year, without fail, most people resolve to “get healthy.” Clearly it’s not an easy feat as the resolution holds on to the top resolution spot every year. This year we are here to help you kick it into high gear and make the most of your resolution!

Research has shown that a high correlation exists between music and peak physical performance. According to Scientific American, Music has been proven to distract from pain and fatigue, and it also elevates mood and endurance! People even (without realizing it!) run farther, bike longer, and swim faster when listening to music.

We don’t know about you, but we’ve definitely had that miserable, forgotten headphones gym experience! It’s not all about the headphones though, sometimes you need that certain song to really get you going! To help you kick it into high gear this New Year we have put together a list of our all-time favorite workout music below! (we also created a Spotify playlist that includes all these songs for your convenience)
