What did I want to do with my life?
After leaving the tech industry, that’s what I asked myself. I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted to do, but I knew I wanted to make a difference and that I had to immensely care about whatever I did.
At the time, I had three children (I now have four) and was spending a lot more time in the grocery store than ever before, looking at ingredients and reading labels. I wanted the best food for my kids—real foods, like organic produce and grass-fed, hormone-free meats. What I found was that the food wasn’t a problem. I could get natural real whole unprocessed food.
Beverages were the problem. There were no flavored beverages without sugar, diet sweeteners, or dyes—basically, there was no water that tasted good without stuff added to it. When I realized this, I decided I was going to create one.
hint was born.
I launched hint to solve a problem for me and my family, but it’s solved a problem for many others. I hear from consumers every day saying that hint was helped them live a healthier life. hint is part of a movement. An all-compassing movement where people are realizing that what you put in your body is just as important as stress relief, exercise, etc. People care now more than ever about their health, and I’m happy that hint can play a part in this movement towards a healthier America.
I believe small healthy choices can make a big difference and that they build upon one another.
As hint has moved forward, we’ve been getting to know people who enjoy living a fun healthy lifestyle. And we love how much fans have been reaching out to us, so we wanted to take the conversation on health further and start a blog talking about how to live a healthy lifestyle. We are taking your tips on how you’re living your best life and sharing them with others for inspiration. I’m also really excited to share more of what we’ve been doing at hint with you!
